Caesars Indiana becomes Horseshoe Indiana

Caesar is no more -- there's a new legend in town.  Officials cut the ribbon Friday to mark the official change from Caesars Indiana to Horseshoe Indiana.

But the changes to the riverboat casino are not just in its name.  Horseshoe promises better food and a better atmosphere.

Rick Mazer, Horseshoe's regional president and general manager, explains, "I think what you'll find here is a very upscale facility that is run by a group of employees, of which I don't know there are any better."

And Neil Walkoff, vice president and asst. general manager, says, "We are thrilled the legend is here as Horseshoe.  Team members are very excited, and I know our guests will be too.  And, of course, the partnership that we've had with the community over the past 10 years, we will continue."

The casino has undergone a $53 million makeover.
