Fans and mascots come out for FanFest

Triple-A team mascots are so excited about Monday's Home Run Derby, they couldn't wait any longer.

On Sunday various mascots including the Louisville Bats Buddy Bat played in the FanFest's Mascot Home Run Derby.

It's all part of the Triple-A All Star events that have come to town before.  This is Louisville's second time hosting the Triple-A All Star game and all its fanfare.  The first was 17 years ago in 1991.

If you want to tickets to any of this week's games, you better act soon.  Greg Galiette, Bats Asst. GM says, "All Star Game is pretty much gone.  Theres only just a few bleacher seats left.  And Uh, as far as the home run derby is concerned for Monday night we still have about a thousand seats left."

Gates will open for the Home Run Derby Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. at Slugger Field.  The home runs will start flying at 7 p.m.
