Gas prices remain at record highs

Filling up your car has never cost more.  Drivers are feeling the pain at the pump in downtown Louisville.  It's $4.29 at the Chevron on West Muhammad Ali Blvd.

AAA reports show that the national price of a gallon of regular remains at a record high.   It's just under $4.11 -- that's over a dollar higher than a year ago.

No relief is in sight from overseas either -- oil remains above $145 a barrel in Asia.

Still, some analysts are looking for a price drop later this year as demand backs off.

As Americans drive less, barrel prices are expected to slide by about $8 in the fourth quarter.
