A day-long standoff ends with the suspect found dead.
It all started Sunday night when police tried to serve a warrant to Kenneth Patrick at his home in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, about 95 miles northeast of Louisville.
Police say they saw Patrick with a gun, then heard a gun shot fired at eight in the morning.
Authorities spent all of yesterday tearing holes in Patrick's trailer and shooting pepper spray to try to force him out.
Officer Rick Saint Blancard of the Kentucky State Police says, "The neighbors say that for the most part he's been kind of an introvert, maybe, at times -- but has been going and doing some socializing with the neighbors periodically."
Authorities found Patrick dead, but have not said how he died.
