Fewer Louisville roads will be repaved this year

It may be a bumpy ride for those who drive on Louisville roads.  That's because of the increasing cost of asphalt, fewer roads will be repaved this year.

The city has budgeted $4.5-million for paving, the same as last year.  But the price of asphalt has climbed from about $42 a ton to $56 a ton.

The spike in oil prices is the reason asphalt costs more.
