Burning cross leads to a federal investigation

A burning cross found in a family's yard in Indiana has led to a federal investigation.

"I don't feel intimidated because I know I haven't done anything to feel intimidated by anybody so I'm just going to stay here and do what I've been doing," said homowner, Mary Pointer.

Pointer's granddaughter found the smoldering four-foot cross in their backyard in Muncie, Indiana last Friday.  They called police, who have now contacted the FBI.

She says she doesn't know why anyone would do that, especially to her grandmother.

This is the second incident of a cross burning in the city in the last two years.  Two men were convicted in a 2006 cross burning and sentenced to time in federal prison.
