Man severely burned after apartment explodes

A man suffers severe burns, after hazardous chemicals in his apartment cause it to explode.  It happened in LaRue County.

Kentucky State Police say 45-year-old William Rucker of Munfordville, Kentucky received second- and third-degree burns on more than 65 percent of his body.  He was flown to University Hospital for treatment.

Police say the chemicals found in his apartment are commonly used to make meth.  Rucker was the only person injured and is being investigated by police.
