Visitation for teen who drowned in Ohio River

The teen who drowned in the Ohio River last week will be remembered on Monday.

Rescuers found the body of Ryan Dahn Saturday morning.  The 19-year-old had been missing since Thursday evening.

His body was discovered across from the Falls of the Ohio State Park, just a few hundred yards from where he was last seen.  Some boaters who frequent the area say it can be a dangerous spot.

Jamie Sargent tells Fox41 News that unsupervised children and some adults who go to the river are not aware of how dangerous it can be.

Visitation for Ryan Dahn is Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8-11 a.m. Kraft Funeral Home in New Albany.

A fund is being set up in Ryan Dahn's name at National City Bank.  All of the proceeds will go to Kosair Children's Hospital.
