Six people injured in I-65 crash

Six people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 65 Monday morning because a driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

It happened around 7:15 Monday morning, near Crothersville, Indiana.  It created huge problems when police had to close the interstate during the busy morning commute.

Police say the driver of a Mercuty Milan fell asleep, crossed the median, and hit a Subaru in the southbound lanes.

Four passengers in the Mercury were seriously injured and were taken to local hospitals.  Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

No word yet on whether the driver will face charges.
