State social workers ask for increase in security

Two state social workers asked Governor Beshear if Kentucky can increase security at its offices.  The questions were asked at a town hall meeting in Shepherdsville.

Governor Beshear noted that the state reinstated security guards at the Louisville offices.  However, he said the tight state budget may not allow for further security in outlying counties.

Beshear told the social workers to "talk loud and clear" with their lawmakers to pay for security.
