donates money, supplies to Bullitt Co. Schools - WDRB 41 Louisville News donates money, supplies to Bullitt Co. Schools presented the Bullitt County Public Schools with a $30,000 check Wednesday morning.  Zappos also donated school supplies and shoes to several students.

The online retailer selected the school system as the top beneficiary of its community program.  Zappos says it will also volunteer its time to help in any way the school board sees fit.

Anthony Vicars, the Director of Fulfillment Operations for the company, says, "We like to be creative and think outside the box, and we'd like to do that when it comes to offering our help to the school system."

School superintendent Keith Davis says the money will be put into an account to be used for an internal grant competition for the schools within the district.
