The Cabbage Patch Settlement House begins work on $7 million expansion
A century-old group that helps Louisville's disadvantaged youth will soon be able to serve even more of the community.
The Cabbage Patch Settlement House started work Friday morning on an estimated $7 million project. The Room to Grow expansion will add 19,000 square feet to the location.
Just last month, the playground at the facility was taken down and moved to make way for the expansion.
The playground has been donated to Redeemed Christian Church in west Louisville.
