U of L's Shelby Campus to develop 108 acres to ease tight budget

U of L's Shelby Campus will look a lot different over the next couple of years.  The school will announce changes to the campus, which is sandwiched between Shelbyville and Whipps Mill Roads.

The school wants to develop 108 acres but leave the rest as green space.  It hopes the development will somewhat ease the school's tight budget.

Plans include realigning the Shelbyville Road entrance with Whittington Parkway and building two new entrances off Hurstbourne Parkway.

U of L promises no high-rise or retail businesses on the campus.
