Louisville Metro Police officer pleads guilty to official misconduct

A Louisville Metro Police officer pleads guilty to official misconduct and resigns from the police department.

Officer Kenneth Wynne was suspended as part of an internal investigation into an alleged criminal matter.  Thursday, he pleaded guilty to official misconduct.

He was sentenced to a year behind bars, but won't have to serve time unless he violates the conditions of his plea.

Wynne has resigned and will not be able to seek employment in law enforcement in Kentucky.
