Two North Bullitt students arrested for threatening note

Two North Bullitt High School students could be sent to jail and expelled for the note they passed in school.

The school was evacuated Monday after someone found a note in the girls' bathroom that referenced a bomb.  Students were taken out of class as a precaution while the building was searched.

Two 17-year-olds are now charged with terroristic threatening.  Det. Scotty McGaha of the Bullitt County Sheriff's Dept. says, "Where someone makes a threat to a school with a weapon of mass destruction, just the threat of it has increased the seriousness and charges of that because across the U.S., these threats and some of the things that have occurred has made it a very serious thing."

Students were back in class after about half an hour.  Letters were sent home to parents to explain what happened.
