Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels speaks about progress of full-day kindergarten

Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels stops in New Albany for lunch and answers questions about his latest proposals for the state.

Daniels stopped at Tommy Lancaster's between campaign stops Thursday afternoon.

He also talked about the progress of his full-day kindergarten program:  "That's still a work in progress.  We made a huge step forward.   We have about 63% of Hoosier kids, five-year-olds, in full-day this year, which is big step forward.  But we've got to take that last step, it really ought to be available everywhere.

Daniels is facing Democrat Jill Long Thompson in November.
