John Gage is an educator, a radio host, and a musician on a mission.

He's trying to help people understand how the arts improve learning and personal well-being.

Originally from Oklahoma, John came to Louisville over 30 years ago to pursue his education.

He has extensive state-wide experience, planning collaboratively with teachers for arts education programs and curriculum design.

He also conducts interactive workshops and motivational speeches in pursuit of his stated mission to connect people to each other and to the earth.

John is host of the Kentucky Homefront radio show, a traditional music and storytelling show heard locally on public radio, WFPK 91.9FM, every Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.

He is also Director of Performing Arts at the Kentucky Theater in Louisville.
