Big Brothers Big Sisters raffle for Ryder Cup tickets

There's a one in 100 chance the sports fan who buys a raffle ticket from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana will enjoy a day for two at the Ryder Cup golf championship at Valhalla Golf Club September 19. Yet every one of the 100 raffle tickets sold comes with a guaranteed win.

Every $100 raffle ticket includes admission to the reception for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana's 2008 Arby's Charity Tournament at Polo Fields Golf & Country Club September 30. Plus, the ticket sales support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, the local organization providing caring role models for local children who need them.

Tickets can be purchased online from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana at www.bbbsky.org, by phone at 502.587.0494, or at the organization's Louisville office at 1519 Gardiner Lane, Suite B. The winner will be notified by phone and need not be present to win.

The winning ticket will be drawn September 5 at 12:00 p.m. It will include two 37th annual Ryder Cup Samuel Ryder Club tickets ($3200 value) for Friday, September 19, 2008 with complimentary breakfast and lunch buffets, full premium bar, afternoon snacks, reserved seating, preferred parking, shuttle service and a copy of the 37th Ryder Cup Journal. The tickets were donated by the PGA of America.
