Woman facing charges in alleged Jeffersonville road rage shooting appears in court

The woman facing charges in an alleged road rage shooting in Jeffersonville appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.

Yalanda Parrish and her attorney Brian Butler were given discovery items from the state.  They included all of the grand jury testimony as well as witness interviews and background information about previous incidents with Parrish.

Clark County Prosecutor Steve Stewart said on Tuesday, "At this point we're just waiting for a response from the defendant, whether or not we're going to need a trial or whether or not there is going to be a guilty plea.  There's not been an offer submitted to them at this point, but they obviously have the choice of whether or not to plead guilty or go to trial."

Police say on June 17th, Parrish shot at 52-year-old Wesley Mosier after an argument along Highway 62 in Jeffersonville.

Parrish faces 20 years behind bars if she's convicted.  A trial date has been set for November.
