National Stitch in Public Day

The Embroiderers' Guild of America's 13,000 members celebrate 50 years of stitching with National Stitch in Public Day on September 3rd.

Stitchers from across the nation will do their work in public - libraries, parks, stores on this day. The very diverse craft of embroidery is alive and relevant and FUN in the 21st Century.

The mission of The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) is to promote embroidery through education, research, and exhibits that preserve and celebrate its art and heritage.
