IU Police beef up patrols after five students attacked

Indiana University Police are beefing up patrols on the Bloomington campus after an attack on five students.

Two men and three women were assaulted by a man with a sharp weapon early Saturday morning while walking to their dorms.

Police have yet to determine a motive, but they are focusing patrols on areas where international students live, because one of the victims was of Indian descent.

One of the men suffered a four-inch cut to his neck, and two women suffered cuts to their faces.
