Louisville man considered Kentucky's environmental watchdog receives national honor

The man considered Kentucky's environmental watchdog is receiving a national honor.

Thomas FitzGerald of Louisville is founder and director of the Kentucky Resources Council.  He's one of five people being named a Heinz Award winner.

Each winner receives $250,000.  FitzGerald will receive the award Tuesday in Pittsburgh.
