Cupcakes for Chloe raises money for ailing children and their families

A sweet treat is helping some very sick kids in our area.  "Cupcakes for Chloe" was started in June by a group of New Albany women.

The organization is named in honor of seven-year-old Chloe Newman, who died from leukemia.

Volunteers take phone and Internet orders and bake the cupcakes every week.  The money raised from an entire month goes to one family or organization.

Chaney Jacobson of Cupcakes For Chloe explains, "It can help tremendously.  They could use it on anything they needed it for -- bills, medical bills, rent, anything like that."

This month all the money raised will go to Light The Night, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
