The 5th Annual Bark in the Park is Saturday, September 20th from 7am to 3pm at Seneca Park.

The event is presented by The Animal Care Society and raises money for families and pets.

There will be a 5k run and a 1 mile dog walk.

For the run, registration begins at 7 am with the run at 8 am.

For the walk, registration begins at 9:30 am with the walk starting at 10 am.

The fee for the run and walk is $30 on the day of the event.

There is also the Canine Idol Talent Contest and Halloween Canine Costume contest, a Pet Agility Course,  pet CPR/First Aid training, Frisbee demonstrations, K-9 Police Dog Unit demonstration, obedience/Ttraining classes, and Metro Animal Services' Mobile SPOT Unit.

Veterinarians from Pewee Valley Veterinary Center will be microchipping for a fee of $30 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Children can get their faces painted, make fun crafts, choose a prize from the Duck Pond, or compete in our Kibble Throw.

Pet-themed booths will be on site with merchandise and information, along with some very nice Raffle and Silent Auction Items. Yummy treats will be available for pets and their people.
