Woman struck by TARC bus in downtown Louisville

A woman was hit by a TARC bus in downtown Louisville Wednesday morning. 

TARC says the bus was turning from Fourth Street onto Market.  TARC says a pedestrian then stepped off the curb in front of the bus and was hit.

It happened around 9:30 Wednesday morning.

TARC says the woman was alert and talking, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.  TARC and police are investigating.
