Cleanup continues from wind storm

People are cleaning up trees, branches, and debris throughout neighborhoods from Sunday's wind storm.

Crews are still working around the clock to get power back on.  Many lines are still down along Breckenridge Lane south of the Watterson, among other places.

Mark Booker's back yard was covered with branches and debris -- his fence was also damaged.  He spent more than four hours cleaning up the mess but says it's actually saved him some work finding firewood: "I will burn it all, because I burn in the house in the wintertime.  I will cut it all up pretty small and burn it all, the brush I will set out for the junk."

Debris can be dropped off for free at the Louisville Metro Solid Waste Management Center at 600 Meriweather Avenue, or at the Southwest Government Center at 7219 Dixie Highway.

The free dropoffs begin tomorrow through the weekend.
