Southern Indiana residents regaining power

Duke Energy says about 26,000 people in Clarksville, Connersville, Corydon, and Madison, Indiana are still without power.

Some of those homes and businesses could have electricity by Friday night -- others could have to wait until Monday.

In Harrison County, about 4700 REMC customers are still without power.  That's down from 20,000.  Line workers from northern Indiana are helping restore power there.

Clark County REMC reports a thousand of its customers still lack power.

And Jackson County's REMC is still trying to connect about two hundred.

It would like to hear from its customers without power to make sure they've accounted for everyone.  The numbers to call are (812) 358-4458 or (800) 288-4458.
