26,000 still without power in Southern Indiana

And in Southern Indiana, Duke Energy is reporting about 26,000 people in Clarksville, Connersville, Corydon, and Madison, are still without power.

Some of those homes and businesses could have electricity by tonight. Others could have to wait until Monday. In Harrison County, about 47,000 REMC customers are still without power. That's down from 20,000. Line workers from northern Indiana are helping restore power there.

Clark County REMC reports a thousand of its customers still lack power. And Jackson County's REMC is still trying to connect about two hundred.

Customers without power are being asked to get in touch with the REMC to make sure they've accounted for everyone.

The numbers to call are (812) 358-4458 or (800) 288-4458.
