Jefferson County Schools back in session

Things are back to normal at Jefferson County Public Schools, where class is back in session.

Storm damage and power outages forced officials to close school all week, but Monday they were back open and operating on a normal schedule.

Buses were expected to arrive at normal times, unless your neighborhood is still experiencing problems due to downed trees and power lines.

For some parents, it was hard to clean up storm damage with their kids around.  Many parents are glad school is back in session.

Students will have to make up the five days they were out of school last week.  As of right now, that means school will be in session until June first.
