Jeffersonville business owner faces drug charges

A Jeffersonville business is busted for drugs.  The owner of the business is now behind bars at the Clark County Jail, facing several drug charges.

The closed sign is up at Ax-a-Dent Paintless Dent Removal after Jeffersonville Police say they found an active meth lab inside.  It's right next to businesses and homes on Utica Sellersburg road and Highway 62.

Police say they received a tipline call about possible drugs there and on Monday they arrested  35-year-old Wayne Senecal of Olney, Illinois -- the owner of the business.  He faces several charges including manufacturing and possession of meth.

An orange sticker from Indiana State Police is now on the door, warning people about the drug residue, which is still considered dangerous.  Detective Todd Hollis says the fact that the lab was discovered in a business means the chemicals used to make meth could have gotten into the trash or elsewhere and created a dangerous situation.

But another neighbor who lives right next door to the business says he was suprised to hear about drug charges.  Jack Harler says Senecal seemed like a good person and not like someone who would do something like create a meth lab.

Authorities say right now Senecal is the only arrest they intend to make.

Police say meth was something that used to be found in mostly rural areas, but now it's moving to more urban areas.
