One stop disaster assistance center to open in Clark county

A one stop disaster assistance center will open in Clark county Wednesday.  The center at the Clark county fairgrounds in Charlestown will assist residents who suffered damage form the severe storms and flooding last month.

The center will be open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. until October 14.  Representatives from FEMA will be available to answer questions about registration for disaster assistance, help with disaster loan applications and provide information and contacts for other programs.

Those affect by the storms are encourage to register for assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA before they visit the disaster recovery center.
