Two children die in house fire

Two children are dead, after a fire broke out Sunday morning in their Louisville home.  9-year-old Kierren Lindsay and 4-year-old Kaden died from smoke inhalation.

The boys' uncle was at the home with a friend at the time and helped rescue their 13-year-old sister, who went to the hospital.

Firefighters say power was on at their home, but the family had been using candles before the power came back on.

Firefighters don't know if candles caused the fire, but they say the home did not have a working smoke detector.

The fire destroyed the home and damaged two homes next door.

Firefighters faced difficult and slippery conditions while fighting the flames.
