Businesses await Main Street two-way conversion as construction continues in Louisville

A nearly yearlong project to convert part of Main Street in downtown Louisville from one-way to two-way traffic is facing delays as business owners wait for construction to finish.

The entire conversion was initially expected to be completed by spring 2026, but Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials now anticipate the two-way transition to start later in the summer.
