NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- Homemade doughnuts and chicken and dumplings can can only mean one thing in New Albany: Harvest Homecoming.
The annual fall festival is underway in downtown New Albany, with craft and food booths open through Sunday.
The food and fun keep locals and out-of-towners coming back year after year.
The festivities kicked off last Saturday with a parade.
This Saturday, kids can take advantage of special activities, contests and more. Entertainment for grown-ups includes dozens of craft booths, and live music Friday and Saturday night at the amphitheater by the river.
And don't forget the food - lots of food.
Bob Isgrigg made the trip from Fort Knox to New Albany to enjoy some of the fall treats.
"Mostly I look for the food, and I just look at the crafts," Isgrigg said. "I buy a little bit when I come down here."
This is the 51st year for the event.
