The ground in the area near Junction City was scorched and smoke could still be seen at around 11:30 a.m.
The company said, depending on when it gets regulatory approval, one of its lines could be back in service by this weekend.
That explosion killed 58-year-old Lisa Derringer and injured five other residents.
