Air Quality Alert declared for Wednesday in Louisville and part of southern Indiana

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An air quality alert has been issued for Wednesday in Louisville and southern Indiana.

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District says ozone is forecast to be unhealthy for sensitive groups including seniors, children and people who suffer from asthma and COPD.

Officials say the general public is not likely to be affected.
