Louisville doesn't make the cut for Amazon's second headquarters

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Amazon says it will hire more than 1,000 full-time, permanent employees for its facilities in Louisville and Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana.

According to a news release, those interested in applying can attend Amazon's Summer Hiring Kick-Off Party on Friday, June 1. The event will take place at Amazon's facility, located at 900 Patrol Road, in Jeffersonville, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Job applicants can also submit applications online.

Positions with varying shifts are available, and so are part-time positions.
