LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A voluntary recall has been issued for CVS Health 12-Hour Sinus Relief Nasal Mist.
Product Quest Manufacturing issued the recall on Aug. 8 after microbiological contamination identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found, according to a news release posted on the FDA's website.
The website says the recall includes products labeled with Lot #173089J, EXP 09/19.
The nasal decongestant is packaged in a 0.5 fluid ounce bottle, that is placed in a folding carton. According to the FDA, nearly 17,000 units with UPC code 50428432365 were distributed to CVS stores nationwide.
It comes in a white nasal spray bottle and an orange label with "Sinus Relief" in white letters with "CVS Health" at the top left.
Contact your physician or healthcare provider if you believe you have experienced any issues may be related to using the nasal mist.
