Crestwood man facing several charges after fleeing from KSP troopers on I-65

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Crestwood faces several charges after Kentucky State Police said he fled from troopers on his motorcycle in Bullitt County.

KSP said Israel Sostre Jr., 36, fled when troopers attempted to stop him for speeding on I-65 North. He took off, reaching speeds as high as 130 mph, according to a news release.

The chase began in Bullitt County and continued into Jefferson County, ending at the 129 mile marker of I-65, which is near the Preston Highway exit. Sostre Jr. is charged with speeding, reckless drivingĀ and first-degree wanton endangerment.
