LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 33-year-old Louisville man was arrested after going into a home and stabbing a person, according to Louisville Metro Police.Â
LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis said police responded to a stabbing in the 800 block of South 40th Street in the Chickasaw neighborhood around 8 p.m. Monday. Police found a man who had been stabbed in the leg. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ellis.
Court document said the stabbing happened at 4219 Sunset Ave., near where police responded. The victim told police Ricky Tipton unlawfully entered a home through an unlocked door.
Tipton and the victim are acquaintances.Â
Tipton was booked at Louisville Metro Corrections on Tuesday.Â
