LMPD requests help finding suspected bank robber

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A bank robber is on the run, and Louisville Metro Police want help tracking him down.

LMPD says the man went to the US Bank at 2350 Bardstown Road just after 9 a.m. on Thursday. He went to an employee with a note that said he had a gun and demanded money. He was able to get away with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured.

Police released a photo from surveillance video of the suspect. They are looking for a white male about 5'9" and 180 pounds. They believe he is between 25 and 30 years old with a medium build and reddish-blonde hair.

The LMPD Robbery unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 502-574-LMPD (5673).
