LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of a teen whose body was found in a ravine.
It happened back in 2015. Investigators found 19-year-old Megan Hassler's body in a ravine in Bullitt County after she was reported missing.
On Wednesday, Todd Byrd pleaded guilty to murder, kidnapping and robbery, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Monica Mudd, who was also charged in the case, already pleaded guilty to the same charges. Mudd claims she and Todd Byrd abducted Hassler over stolen drugs and other items.
She says Byrd shot and killed Hassler.
