Man wanted on attempted murder charge in Taylor Co. arrested in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder in Taylor County.

Joseph Clements, 25, was arrested on Friday afternoon on South Jackson Street.

According to an arrest warrant, Clements allegedly stabbed a man 13 times after "forcing entry" into the victim's home on July 8. Police say Clements also hit a female victim with a car door, while escaping the scene.

Clements was arraigned in court on Saturday morning. He's also charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree wanton endangerment.

He's being held at Louisville Metro Corrections without bond.
