LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Owenton, Kentucky, man was arrested Monday morning after police say child pornography was traced to his online activity.
According to a news release from the Kentucky State Police, the KSP Electronic Crimes Branch determined that 33-year-old Patrick Voegele was likely in possession of child pornography files. As a result, a search warrant was executed at his Owen County home, and, "equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized" and taken to Kentucky State Police labs for examination.
Voegele was arrested and charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
He is currently being held in the Carroll County Detention Center.
