North Oldham H.S. ranked as one of America's best high schools in Newsweek

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's high praise for a local high school.

Newsweek placed North Oldham High School at number nine in its annual list of the nation's 500 best high schools

Schools were ranked on college readiness, their graduation rate and the percentage of students who are college bound.

Two other Kentucky public high schools, both near Cincinnati, made the list. Highlands in Fort Thomas came in at number 274 and Beechwood in Fort Mitchell was ranked as 342nd.
