LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana University's football stadium will get a major facelift.
The IU student newspaper reports the school's board of trustees approved the $53 million renovation plan Friday.
The plan will fully enclose Memorial Stadium's south end zone. It calls for a more than 66,000-square-foot addition as well.
The football team's locker room will also get a makeover and a players' lounge.
Two new video boards will be put in the end zones.
The project is expected to be finished in August of 2018.
