Indiana Supreme Court returns to original courtroom to celebrate 200th anniversary

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Indiana Supreme Court is celebrating the state's bicentennial by returning to its original courtroom.

The five-judge panel heard oral arguments in Corydon on Wednesday. That's where the court first met in May 1817.

Corydon served as the capital of Indiana from 1813 until 1825.

Justice Brent Dickson also heard his last oral argument today, ending his career as the second longest-serving justice in Indiana.

The event was endorsed by the Indiana Bicentennial Commission.
