Kids Acting Against Cancer (KAAC), a theatre troupe that annually performs musical productions to raise money for pediatric cancer research, perform Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella on Saturday January 14th at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in the Bomhard Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky.
Kids Acting Against Cancer is run entirely by college students.
Every piece of the production including directing, acting, producing, and marketing is performed independently by college students, and this year's Cinderella will be the organization's third show at the Kentucky Center and thirteenth overall.
100% of the proceeds will benefit Gilda's Club Louisville and Kosair Children's Hospital.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Children ten and under are $10. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 502.584.7777.
The house opens at 7:00 PM with the show beginning at 7:30 PM. The Kentucky Center for the Arts is located at 501 W. Main Street.
KAAC has previously performed hit musicals such as High School Musical, Grease, Into the Woods, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and A Little Princess in several different venues around Louisville.
The organization was formed in 1999 by Whitten and Jaclyn Montgomery when their mother was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Cinderella is friendly for all ages and will run roughly two hours with one intermission.
