LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - There's a new piece of art in the Shelby Park neighborhood. And at first, you might not be able to tell what it is.
The theme of this design is "building something bigger than ourselves."
Artist Tyler Deeb lives in the neighborhood and created the concept by taking a picture of flowers and pixelating it.
Today community members painted more than 2,000 squares on the side of the Bornstein building on Logan Street.
The company donated the space and Access Ventures sponsored the project.
"We thought creatively, how can we take a plain wall and turn it into something exciting?" said Ben Terry of Access Ventures. "It's across the street from homes and houses and a one-way street where people drive by everyday, so we thought no better location and Bornstein was all about it."
This is Access Ventures' first art installation in the Shelby Park area.
Three other art projects are planned for later this year.
