Louisville's first IHOP opens

An international hot spot has finally found a home in Louisville.  The first International House of Pancakes location in the city has opened.

It's located on Hurstbourne right off of I-64 where the old Perkins restaurant burned down.  Dozens of people were waiting and camping out in the parking lot two hours before the restaurant officially opened its doors at six this morning, and it's been busy ever since.

IHOP's Dan Campbell explains, "The great thing about IHOP is we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  We're open 24/7.  We're open all the time, we have great breakfast food as well as dinner food as well."

This is the first Louisville IHOP, but it's not the first in Kentuckiana -- there's another restaurant on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville.
